Best of Oregon Camping: Beavertail Campground

This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Central Oregon! This BLM campground is along the Deschutes River and is pretty basic as in it has an out house and a water pump and a total of 17 first come first serve sites. This is a REAL camping experience and it's amazing. 
On the road to the campground there was a large dead rattlesnake, it was the first and only, (and hopefully the last) rattlesnake I have seen in Oregon. We love going to explore nearby attractions at the camps we stay at and this trip we went and saw the Celestial Falls on the White River. They were beautiful so scroll to the bottom to see them!

P.S.The sunsets there were unforgettable!
